I’ve been up all night to watch the Oscar’s and to spot the best beauty moments from the red carpet, just for you! So you can browse through the best in Oscars 2016 beauty next to a cup of coffee or tea on your Monday morning!
Best Oscars 2016 Beauty
Makeup wise this Oscar was very natural, most of the looks were on the nude, bronzey side. Cate Blanchett tends to steal my heart every time when she steps on the Oscars Red Carpet and it was the same this year as well. Her natural look was in perfect harmony with her mermaid like dress. Rooney Mara was striking with her geisha-esque makeup look, her porcelain skin and dark red lips were an unique view between the lot of “no makeup” makeup look. Margot Robbie’s golden makeup look were perfect match with the golden statues of the background of the red carpet, she earned the title “walking Oscars statue” this night.
Best Lips On The Red Carpet
I spotted a glorious berry lip colour trending against the good old nudes. This shade is fresh, sexy and vibrant and it looked amazing on these beauties: (from left to right) Sofia Vergara, Naomi Watts and Brie Larson. That has to be accidental that they all paired this glorious lip shade with dark blue gowns which looks incredibly stunning.
Best Blondes With Smokey Eyes
It seems that these beautiful blonde nominees all decided to opt for dramatic smokey eyes. Rachel McAdams gave an extra kick to her makeup look with an emerald eyeliner on the bottom waterline (in perfect harmony with her gorgeous dress). Jennifer Lawrance – who also deserve a high five for her amazing hair style – paired a peachy blush and lipstick with classic smokey eyes. And Saoirse Ronan? She was simply stunning, her beautiful grayish-blue eyes got perfectly contoured with an ashy smokey look (the amazing emerald jewelry was only the cherry on the top of the cake).
Award season is mainly always the time of great updos and buns, but these ladies are rocking some fresh and unique hairstyles that’s why I picked them. Brie Larson – who was already winning my heart with her lip look (above) – embellished her look with a very on trend hair accessory. The winner of the Best Supporting Actress title Alicia Vikander brought a full on Disney princess look at the red carpet, and with her half bun she got my sight too. The glowing Chrissy Teigen showed up in an incredible gown with a cute baby bump and an amazingly stylish braid.
Best Ladies Wearing Orange
A little forecast for this spring: orange and peach will be super fashionable. Just take a look at these ladies and how they are rocking these beautiful and lively shades. Olivia Munn paired her vibrant Stella McCartney gown with a bright orange lipstick and brown eyeliner. Lady Gaga – who rocked an amazing pantsuit – sparkles in peachy eyeshadow. Louise Roe picked a peached gown and matched it with glamorous winged eyeliner look and a light orange lipstick. Ahmazing!
